There are four primary programs available on line which will PAY YOU to surf the net. They are AllAdvantage.com, ePIPO.com, ValuePay.com and UtopiAD.com.

 
What are you being paid for, you ask?
Companies pay you for your screen space while you are on line. That's all! You lose about 3/4" - 7/8" of your screen, typically across the bottom of your screen. Some companies pay you regardless of "where" you are or what you're doing online, but others are more restrictive. See my breakdowns below.
